Full-Time | M-F, 3:00 p.m. 11:00 p.m. | Salary: $30.34 to $42.47/hr
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20K | Relocation: Not offered | Fee: 20% of annual salary
Overview
HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a 558-bed acute care facility with four Palm Beach County locations. Services include emergency care, cardiovascular care, neurosciences, robotic surgery, orthopedics, bariatrics, behavioral health, and obstetrics. The hospital is a Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center, a certified Ventricular Assist Device program, an ACC Chest Pain Center, and an ACS Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program.
We are seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services for inpatient and outpatient populations across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures to diagnose medical conditions

Prepare patients and explain procedures, obtaining consent when required

Determine appropriate anatomical positioning and shielding for patients

Collaborate with physicians and imaging staff as needed

Follow aseptic and sterile technique for applicable procedures

Maintain accurate documentation for each procedure immediately after completion

Adhere to infection control standards and departmental policies
Qualifications
Required:
-
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Imaging program

Florida State DOH General Radiographer license
-
ARRT CT Registry or registry-eligible (acquire within 6 months of hire)

One year of CT experience preferred (seasoned X-ray techs may be trained to CT)

Acute care or hospital-based experience

Strong patient communication skills and attention to detail
