JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sr. Change Analyst, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) plays an integral role in the day-to-day management and implementation of RED’s products. They manage the process of coordinating between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to implement changes smoothly while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards (like ISO). They process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), update BOMs (Bills of Materials), check-in/out drawings in ERP/PLM systems, track progress, and maintain data integrity, playing a key role in product lifecycle management and continuous improvement.
They are meticulously organized, motivated, and performance driven person who can help the team complete projects in a rapidly changing environment. The ideal candidate is confident in communicating with others, be self-motivated, and have worked in collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage Change Process: Administer the engineering change management process, including processing ECOs, MCOs, DCOs, LCOs and managing all parts from Preliminary lifecycle to obsolescence.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a liaison between R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and smooth implementation of changes.
- Documentation & Data Management: Update and maintain product data, BOMs, drawings, and other critical documents in PLM/ERP systems (ARAS Innovator / NetSuite).
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all changes adhere to company policies, quality systems (QMS), and regulatory requirements.
- Impact Assessment: Review change requests, assess potential impacts on product, cost, and efficiency, and log risks.
- Tracking & Reporting: Monitor change implementation status, report progress, identify bottlenecks, and support Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
- Support & Training: Provide guidance and training on Change process requirements and system usage.
- Be an integral Team Member of the Project Management Office (PMO) that spans Engineering and Manufacturing organizations and report to the Sr. Director, PMO at RED
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant field of study is preferred and around 7-10 years of professional experience in a Change Analyst documentation control or equivalent role.
- Independent worker and thinker with a positive attitude and ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
- Multi-task, meet deadlines, quickly process information and maintain confidential information with a dedication to ensuring quality of the product.
- Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
- Proficiency with change management software and documentation tools.
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office Suite, ARAS Innovator PLM.
- Preferred experience with Agile PLM, NetSuite ERP systems
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
