About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for an adult client living at home. The client requires ongoing skilled support to maintain health, comfort, and quality of life in a private home setting.

This role is ideal for a nurse who values building strong relationships and delivering consistent, high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and nursing best practices
• Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and speaking valve management
• Administer prescribed medications via J-tube and manage feedings
• Perform catheter care and monitor for complications
• Document care provided and communicate changes in condition to family and care team
• Support the client’s communication using assistive technology and devices
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Current Washington State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Previous experience with tracheostomy care, suctioning, and enteral feeding (J-tube) strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a home setting
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills
• Current CPR certification (BLS required)
• Able to pass background check and meet state compliance requirements

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 shifts per week – flexible WEEKDAY scheduling (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts available)
