Responsibilities:
• Oversee project-related accounting tasks, including tracking budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
• Prepare and review journal entries, trial balances, and financial reports to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with project teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes related to assigned projects.
• Utilize tools such as Deltek Vision and Workday to streamline accounting workflows and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies in all financial activities.
• Conduct variance analysis and reconcile discrepancies in project budgets.
• Support construction accounting efforts, including cost tracking and resource allocation.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes for assigned projects.
• Provide guidance and recommendations for improving financial processes and systems.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience, preferably in project or construction accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Deltek Vision or Workday.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and solve complex problems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Preferred but not required: accounting certifications.
