Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Food Service Manager to oversee daily operations of our food service establishment. This role ensures exceptional service quality, compliance with health and safety standards, and efficient team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen and dining staff activities
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs
- Monitor food preparation and presentation for quality and consistency
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly
- Develop staff schedules to maintain optimal coverage
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility
- Oversee budgeting and financial reporting for food service operations
- Collaborate on menu planning and special events
Qualifications
- Hospitality, culinary, or related field (preferred)
- Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe)
- Proven experience in food service management or supervisory role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
