Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Med-Surg

Schedule & Shifts

• Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Primary Need: Night shift (must be flexible for occasional day shifts)
• Scheduling:
  • Self-scheduling allowed (not guaranteed)
  • Travelers must remain flexible for unit coverage
  • Block scheduling not guaranteed
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Must be willing to work holidays during contract
• Call Requirement: None
  
  Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry independently
• Administer medications and titrate drips as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and providers
• Float to Nursery/NICU when needed
  
  Clinical Skills & Requirements
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of pediatric RN experience
  • Travel experience required
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • PALS
• Skills:
  • Telemetry interpretation (required)
  • Pediatric medication administration and drip titration
