Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a district-wide setting as a school psychologist. This position, based near Pendleton, IN, is designed for skilled professionals passionate about fostering student success and emotional well-being. The role is onsite only, providing consistent, face-to-face interaction and engagement throughout the academic year.

You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to ensure students receive the psychological support necessary for academic and social-emotional growth. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through June 7, 2027, with a standard workweek of 35 hours. Two positions are available. Scheduling accommodates either an 8:50 am - 3:30 pm or 7:30 am - 2:20 pm workday, offering some flexibility for your preference.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or specialist-level degree from an accredited program in School Psychology
  • Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist (or ability to obtain)
  • Prior experience working with students across K-12 (preferred, but strong new grads encouraged)
  • Ability to interpret assessment results and develop effective intervention strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and students
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and ethical professional standards

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students in need
  • Collaborate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support social-emotional wellness
  • Engage in crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and help drive data-informed decisions
  • Consult with teachers and staff regarding behavioral or learning concerns
