Job DescriptionCLIENT HIGHLIGHTThe Client you will be working for is a Fortune 150 global leader in the Renewable Energy industry. They specialize in Utility Scale Wind and Solar Development. This opportunity will give you experience in the growing Offshore Wind industry in the United States with a company that is a globally recognized leader in sustainable energy.LOCATIONWishek, ND 58495**Sites located in Logan & McIntosh counties**COMPENSATION$595 per day SCHEDULEMonday – Friday (50 hours per week, 10 hour days) ** Work week can extend pending options for additional weekend workPOSITION OVERVIEW: HSE Advisor- Night Shift TASKS
- Drive and promote a good initiative taking QHSE culture through leading by example, using data, raising awareness, knowledge sharing, and lessons learned (registration and implementation)
- Demonstrate and promote data driven risk management through a proactive reporting culture and high-quality data management.
- Support ongoing development, implementation, and use of Client’s systems, procedures, instructions, and associated QHSE documentation i.e.:
- Instructions, procedures, contingency plans
- QHSE Management system (way we work) / QHSE process landscape, site assurance plans.
- Global/local Emergency Response / Crisis Management
- Audit/compliance check (ISO 9001/14001/45001/55001
- Planning, facilitation / participation of Safety meetings, “Toolbox Talks”, “Safety Walks”, hazid/hazop workshops
- Review of documentation/Risk Assessments JHAs, SWI, Lift plans, Incident reports.
- Monitoring and assessment of internal/external QHSE compliance and - performance using Client’s incident reporting tool (Synergi) for reporting, trend analysis etc.
- Coordinate and report safety inspections, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and report derived observations, risks, and lessons learnt.
- Ad-hoc support as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience with QHSE, ideally from relevant fields of industry.
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Excellent people skills, effective communication, and presentation skills.
- IT literate (Microsoft office package, knowledge of Synergi is an advantage).
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with 3rd party contractors in relation to QHSE
- GWO not required but highly preferred!

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, quality or environmental studies, business administration, communications, or another equivalent field
CONTRACT TERM4 months with a possibility to extend 1 month
