We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Specialist to join our team in Tuskegee, Alabama. In this Contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of donor-related accounts.


Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.

• Reconcile accounts regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Prepare and record accounting entries in compliance with organizational guidelines and regulations.

• Support donor finance operations by maintaining accurate records and reporting.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial workflows.

• Assist in preparing financial reports related to donor accounts.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy.

• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial data.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related field is required

• Experience with bank reconciliations and account reconciliation.

• Strong knowledge of accounting entries and practices.

• Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Familiarity with financial reporting and donor account management.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in financial operations.
