Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

Ultimate Therapy is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant at Autumn Lake at Voorhees West. Help residents move through recovery with treatment focused on practical goals-from standing more steadily to walking with less assistance-in a skilled nursing rehabilitation setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatments outlined in the supervising PT's plan of care.

• Use prescribed exercises and functional activities to build strength, balance, and endurance.

• Guide residents through transfer training, walking practice, and bed mobility while observing individual precautions.

• Reinforce safe use of walkers and other prescribed equipment during daily movement.

• Track treatment tolerance and functional changes, sharing observations with the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Maintain accurate session notes and collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to carry mobility strategies into daily care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant license.

• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and recognize changes requiring the PT's attention.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills.

• Skilled nursing experience is helpful; new graduates are welcome to apply.
