Job DescriptionAccounts Payable Manager The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process for a dynamic organization. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, manages payment cycles, and supports financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume environments and a strong understanding of media production workflows and vendor relationships. This position is direct hire and will pay between $60K and $75K annually. Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the accounts payable department, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor inquiries
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and industry regulations
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with production teams to reconcile vendor contracts, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies
- Lead and mentor a team of AP specialists, providing training and performance feedback
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Prepare reports and analyses for finance leadership and auditors
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing AP-related data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
