Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher is sought for a full-time, onsite position at an elementary school serving grades 3rd through 5th. This role supports a caseload of 12-16 students through inclusion practices involving both push-in and pull-out instructional methods. Paraprofessional support is available in the classrooms to assist with delivering specialized educational services.

This contract-to-hire opportunity spans the 2025/2026 school year with two Special Education positions available. The setting emphasizes inclusive education, requiring flexibility and collaboration to meet diverse student needs within general education environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual education plans (IEPs) for students in grades 3-5.
  • Implement both push-in and pull-out services to support student learning.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and paraprofessionals to provide inclusive classroom experiences.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and munication with families and educational teams.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably grades 3-5.
  • Familiarity with inclusion models and ability to effectively operate pull-out and push-in instructional methods.
  • Strong munication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 12-16 students with varying needs.
