Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – 6 Openings
Pay Rate: $49–$61/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time
Days: Monday–Friday
Start Date: August 3, 2026
End Date: May 27, 2027
Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking six dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a supportive school district in the Washington, DC metro area (approximately 45 minutes south of DC). These are full-time, onsite positions supporting students across a variety of grade levels. Assignments are available at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, offering flexibility based on your experience and preference.

Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility and treatment plans
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success strategies
Manage caseloads across assigned schools (specific placements TBD)
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Active Virginia SLP License (required)
Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work onsite (no virtual or hybrid options available)
Must be able to begin credentialing immediately:
Virginia Department of Social Services background check
TB Test
