Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Type: Local or Travel
Pay Rate: $54 – $59 per hour

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. The SLP will evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders while working with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide evidence-based therapy services

• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries

• Collaborate with physicians and therapy teams

• Educate patients and families

• Participate in care planning meetings

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and facility policies

• Support AAC devices as needed

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New York State SLP License

• CCC-SLP (ASHA) or CFY eligible

• BLS Certification

Preferred

• 1+ year of clinical or hospital experience

• Experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, or SNF setting
