Traveling Line Cook / Prep Cook – Summer Opportunity

Assignment: Summer Seasonal (Travel to New Jersey Required)
Position Overview
We are hiring Traveling Line Cooks / Prep Cooks to support restaurant operations in New Jersey for the summer season. This role assists with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients (wash, cut, portion, and store properly)
Cook menu items following recipes and presentation standards
Set up and maintain stations for service
Operate kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, etc.)
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all prep and cooking areas
Monitor food quality, freshness, and inventory levels
Assist chefs and team members during service

Requirements

1–3+ years of culinary experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Basic English communication skills
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Flexible schedule (weekends/holidays required)
