Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Surgical ICU nursing
- Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIH stroke scale
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
- Ability to function effectively in high-pressure ICU environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive critical care to patients in the Surgical ICU unit
- Monitor vital signs and manage advanced medical devices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Provide education and support to patients and families during hospital stays
