Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a significant impact? This is a permanent role that will play a key part in our financial operations and strategy.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
2. Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
3. Implementing accounting policies and procedures that strengthen internal controls.
4. Managing the acquisition process, including due diligence, valuation, and integration into financial operations.
5. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
6. Liaising with external auditors and managing audit processes.
7. Participating in budgeting processes and updating financial plans regularly.
8. Ensuring all financial operations comply with federal and state laws and regulations.
9. Collaborating with accounting and financial staff and executives to improve financial processes.
10. Assisting with special projects as required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
3. Public Accounting experience preferred
