SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
The Senior Accountant position will be responsible for construction-specific accounting standards, performing financial reporting and analysis. Key responsibilities involve working with project managers, processing invoices, and payments, handling subcontractors, monitoring cash flow, preparing financial statements and job costing reports. Must be able to work independently and collaborate with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, problem solving and results in a large, fast-paced construction company.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Reconciliation:
· Balance accounts, ledgers, and reporting results to Controller
· Provide financial analysis and month-end reporting support to president and controller
· Manage inter-company processes with sister agencies and investments
· Construction job costing for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors
Billing:
· Responsible for processing of billing and contractor files
· Oversee client set-up and accounts receivable process
· Review vendor payment process
Audits:
· Assist with all external and internal audit reviews
Supervision:
· Supervising junior accountants and staff members
Qualifications:
· Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting
· Minimum 3 years’ related experience
· Working knowledge of tax laws and auditing procedures
· Proficient in MS Office products (Word, PWP, Excel, Outlook)
· ComputerEase accounting software a plus.
· Knowledge of sales tax a plus
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles
Pay: $70,000- $85,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Zoladz Construction will perform work anywhere along the eastern sea coast. We have completed projects in New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, North Carolina, Louisiana, Ohio, Maryland, Mississippi, Florida, and Texas.
Zoladz Construction employs approximately 325 well trained personnel. Utilizing a fleet of late model heavy equipment and trucks in excess of 300 units. We are utilizing Trimble GPS Survey and Grade Control hardware, Insite takeoff software and Heavy Bid estimating programs.
