We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll & Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our payroll processes while maintaining strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Our ideal candidate will be familiar both ADP and Paycom and brings specific experience navigating the unique payroll and compliance requirements of an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP).
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Execute full-cycle weekly/bi-weekly payroll for a high-volume workforce using ADP and Paycom.
- Manage time-tracking systems, ensuring all driver logs and hours are accurate and approved.
- Process garnishments, tax levies, and child support orders in compliance with legal requirements.
- Reconcile payroll totals and ensure all filings are accurate before final submission.
Compliance & Amazon DSP Operations
- Maintain deep knowledge of Amazon DSP compliance standards, ensuring all payroll records align with Amazon’s auditing requirements.
- Monitor labor law updates (FLSA, overtime, rest/meal breaks) to ensure continuous operational compliance.
- Conduct regular internal audits of payroll records and employee files.
Benefits & Workers' Compensation
- Administer the Benefits Plus platform, assisting employees with enrollment, plan changes, and inquiries.
- Manage the end-to-end Workers' Compensation process, including filing claims, coordinating with insurance carriers, and maintaining OSHA logs.
- Oversee leave administration (FMLA, PFL, Disability) and ensure proper payroll integration.
Required Qualifications
- Software Mastery: Minimum 2+ years of direct experience using ADP (Workforce Now, is required) and Paycom (preferred).
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience working within the Amazon DSP ecosystem is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Workers' Compensation claim management and Benefits Plus administration.
- Regulatory Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws.
- Data Accuracy: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets and large datasets.
