JOB SUMMARY

Provides appropriate and clinically indicated services to children, adolescents, families and adults. Maintains clinical records within all federal, state, and city regulations documenting all services provided.

  • Provides direct clinical services including individual, family, and crisis intervention as clinically indicated.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and consult with supervisor as clinically indicated.
  • Maintains clinical records in compliance with all cities, state, and federal regulations as per the city Department of Mental Health, Mental Disabilities and Substance Use Services, the State Office of Mental Health, and the State of New York Department of Health.
  • Complies with managed care requirements including consulting with care coordinators, obtaining treatment authorization, and providing necessary documentation
  • Participates in all mandatory agency training/in-service programs.
  • Attends weekly individual supervision with clinical supervisor.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of, and supports, clinic mission, vision, and value statements, standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
  • Committed to the active promotion of ICL values and goals.
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions; prioritize, think logically and advocate professionally.
  • Ability to work effectively in high pressure mental health environment.
  • Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate trauma-informed Person-Centered care to clients in a crisis.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Licensed by New York State as LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT or eligible for limited permit. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Cultural competency is essential.
