Job Description
The Warehouse Worker will perform medium industrial services which include tasks such as carton picking, shrink-wrapping pallets, and moving palletized materials using Material Handling Equipment (MHE). This role requires frequent physical activities such as bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, twisting, pushing, and pulling. Candidates should have familiarity with a warehouse or distribution environment, proficiency in operating a pallet jack, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Good reading, writing, and communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform carton picking which involves frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
- Shrink-wrap pallets efficiently.
- Move palletized materials using manual or electric pallet jacks.
- Ensure accurate and timely order picking and packing.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment safely and effectively.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks, both manual and electric.
- Experience with cherry pickers and order picking.
- General knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, including reading and writing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
Work Environment
The position operates within a warehouse or distribution environment and involves working Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The role requires wearing appropriate safety gear and attire suitable for physical activities, ensuring the safe handling of materials.

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
