Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support a busy real estate and property organization in Calabasas, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can balance employee support, compliance activities, recruiting coordination, and HR administration in a fast-paced environment. The role will contribute to daily human resources operations while helping maintain accurate systems, smooth employee transitions, and responsive service across the business.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support across core human resources activities, helping ensure consistent service and timely follow-through on employee and manager needs.
• Assist with Workday-related activities, including implementation support, system maintenance, and updates to employee information.
• Coordinate recruiting logistics from requisition posting through interview scheduling and candidate communication to keep hiring processes moving efficiently.
• Draft and distribute employment offers for selected candidates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved terms.
• Complete and review I-9 documentation to maintain compliance with employment eligibility requirements.
• Process employee status changes such as promotions, transfers, and separations with strong attention to accuracy and timing.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding administration so new hires and departing employees experience well-organized transitions.
• Review and process HR invoices, confirming timely handling and accurate documentation for departmental records.
• Maintain employee data in HR systems and personnel files, safeguarding record accuracy and overall data integrity.• 5+ years of experience in human resources with broad exposure to generalist responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience working with Dayforce and familiarity with HRIS data management and system updates.
• Knowledge of benefits administration, employee relations, and HR compliance practices.
• Experience supporting recruiting coordination, onboarding, and offboarding activities.
• Understanding of employment documentation requirements, including I-9 completion and verification.
• Familiarity with leave administration processes, including FMLA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization.
