Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot thermoplastic extrusion equipment.
- Monitor production to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform equipment setups, cleaning, inspections, cutting, and packaging.
- Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment.
- Read blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Follow FDA regulations, GMP standards, and all safety procedures.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in plastic extrusion, extrusion operations, injection molding, machine operation, or manufacturing preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers or micrometers.
- Ability to read production specifications and follow detailed work instructions.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and manufacturing software preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand and walk throughout the shift.
- Lift up to 35 lbs.
- Work around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery.
- Comfortable working in a production environment with moderate noise levels.
