Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a contract position in Converse, TX, supporting two schools within the San Antonio Independent School District. This on-site role requires Spanish bilingual skills and active Texas SLPA licensure. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible and an end date of May 29, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support speech therapy services for an approximate caseload of 120 students, many receiving services biweekly or less
  • Assist certified speech-language pathologists in delivering individualized therapy plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist with progress monitoring
  • Collaborate closely with school staff and families to support student communication goals

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLPA licensure required
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency essential
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to manage a large caseload while providing quality support
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Location:

  • On-site roles located in two schools in the San Antonio area: Highlands High School and Longfellow Middle School

Contract Details:

  • Contract position lasting through May 29, 2026
  • Full-time 40 hours per week
