Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a contract position in Converse, TX, supporting two schools within the San Antonio Independent School District. This on-site role requires Spanish bilingual skills and active Texas SLPA licensure. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible and an end date of May 29, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support speech therapy services for an approximate caseload of 120 students, many receiving services biweekly or less
- Assist certified speech-language pathologists in delivering individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with progress monitoring
- Collaborate closely with school staff and families to support student communication goals
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA licensure required
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency essential
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a large caseload while providing quality support
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Location:
- On-site roles located in two schools in the San Antonio area: Highlands High School and Longfellow Middle School
Contract Details:
