CNC Machinist | St. Charles County, MO | Earn $22 - $32/hr
This is for an experienced CNC Machinist who can set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment and is ready to bring that skillset to a precision manufacturing facility in St. Charles County - placed through Express Employment Professionals.
What You'll Be Doing
- Setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers to produce precision parts
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings to meet tight tolerances
- Writing, editing, and loading G-code or CNC programs as needed
- Selecting and installing tooling, fixtures, and workholding for each job
- Performing in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
- Identifying and correcting dimensional issues to maintain quality standards throughout production
We Want You If You
- Have 2+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience in a production or job shop environment
- Can set up your own machine from a blueprint - not just push the cycle start button
- Are comfortable with G-code and can make program edits at the control
- Know how to use precision measuring instruments and hold tight tolerances
- Have experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar CNC controls
This Is NOT For You If
- Your experience is limited to operating only - no setup, no programming
- Reading blueprints or GD&T is not something you can do independently
- You have never used precision measuring tools in a production setting
- Consistent attendance and meeting production deadlines are a challenge
