An Audiologist specializing in geriatric and adult patient care, providing moderate autonomy in clinical decision-making. The role involves managing a moderate patient volume with a focus on comprehensive hearing health through assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning. The position occasionally includes participation in outreach and community education programs to promote hearing wellness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hearing assessments and diagnostic testing
- Perform hearing aid fittings and program devices
- Provide patient counseling and education on hearing health
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Operate diagnostic audiology equipment efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and reporting
- Engage in occasional outreach and community education initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.)
- State audiology license
- 1+ years of professional experience in audiology
- Proficiency in audiometric testing and hearing aid programming
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with report writing and diagnostic equipment operation
- Effective problem-solving abilities
