Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide support and instruction for students from Kindergarten through 10th grade. This full-time, onsite position is based in Lone Tree, CO, and offers the chance to work in a supportive school environment focused on delivering quality education to students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
- Collaborating closely with paraeducators to provide comprehensive classroom support
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with parents, staff, and administration
- Promoting an inclusive and positive classroom environment that fosters growth and development
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with students in grades K10, preferably in a classical academy setting
- Effective collaboration skills with paraeducators and other school personnel
- Strong organizational abilities and a passion for student development
- Commitment to working onsite and engaging fully with the school community
