Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Payroll Systems Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role focuses on optimizing payroll systems, ensuring adherence to compliance standards, and providing critical support for workforce scheduling and attendance management. Based in Saint Louis, Missouri, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare environment by driving system efficiency and improving operational workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Configure and maintain payroll policies within the Workforce Central platform to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Conduct extensive payroll audits during each pay period to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Address workforce inquiries related to scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance issues through the support inbox.
• Process historical corrections for payroll matters, including leave of absence cases, to maintain accurate records.
• Identify and implement system optimizations to improve payroll workflows and enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to support organization-wide payroll operations and workforce scheduling strategies.
• Manage scheduling inconsistencies and manual processes at the department level to streamline workflows.
• Develop and lead training initiatives to reduce communication gaps and empower team members with system knowledge.
• Oversee the workflow inbox to ensure timely responses and efficient communication across departments.• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Workforce Central systems, demonstrating strong technical expertise.
• Proven experience in healthcare payroll and workforce management is highly preferred.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor team members, showcasing leadership and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail for conducting audits and resolving system issues.
• Proficiency in configuring payroll systems and troubleshooting technical problems.
• Familiarity with nursing workforce practices and healthcare pay policies is a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively address workforce inquiries and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing workforce scheduling challenges and optimizing attendance systems.
