What Your Day Looks Like
You’ll keep our molding equipment running smoothly and safely. From starting up cells and performing mold changes to verifying parts with precision tools, you’ll be the steady hand that maintains quality, throughput, and documentation. You’ll collaborate closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering, share insights on process improvements, and help train new teammates in best practices.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor, adjust, and maintain molding lines to hit performance and quality targets.
- Troubleshoot injection/blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment to resolve issues quickly.
- Execute mold changes and machine startups with a focus on safety and repeatability.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines, molds, and tooling.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive stable processes and continuous improvement.
- Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, thermometers, and other gauges to verify specs.
- Keep accurate production and quality records; maintain a clean, organized (5S) work area.
- Assist with onboarding and mentoring of new operators and technicians.
Qualifications Preferred
- Background with GMP, ISO 9001:2015, Lean, and 5S methods.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence with hand tools.
- Experience in process troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Minimum
- High School Diploma or GED (college coursework or 2+ years related experience preferred).
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Comfort with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thermometers, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP platforms (IQMS or similar).

Schedule
12-hour rotating 2-3-2 schedule
- Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Rotation example:
- Week 1: Work Mon–Tue → Off Wed–Thu → Work Fri–Sun
- Week 2: Off Mon–Tue → Work Wed–Thu → Off Fri–Sun
This cycle provides 2 on / 2 off / 3 on, then 2 off / 2 on / 3 off.
