We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as an Area Manager for Tennessee/North Carolina. The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations within a designated region, ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires a balance of strategic planning, team leadership, and operational excellence to drive business growth and maintain customer satisfaction across a diverse client base.

Compensation:
$72,000 - $75,000

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Location:

Remote (with heavy travel to different locations)

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

· Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including transport, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

· Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad base of customers, addressing their needs and providing tailored solutions.

· Team Leadership: Manage, train, and mentor regional staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

· Performance Monitoring: Set and monitor KPIs for the region, ensuring operational targets are met and identifying areas for improvement.

· Strategic Planning: Develop and execute regional logistics strategies aligned with company goals, taking into account market trends and customer requirements.

· Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations adhere to local regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

· Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management or a related role.

· Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and distribution practices.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Proven ability to manage a broad base of customers and maintain high satisfaction levels.

· Analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and optimize operations.

· Effective communication and negotiation skills.

· Proficiency in logistics software and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in a managerial role within a logistics company.

· Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.

· Familiarity with diverse customer bases and tailored logistics solutions.

· Ability to adapt quickly to changing market dynamics and operational needs.
