Traveling Special Education Teacher Self-Contained & Resource Classrooms
Location: Montana (various districts)
Contract Type: Full-Time, 20252026 School Year

Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Traveling Special Education Teacher to support students in self-contained classroom settings across Montana. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities and hold an active Montana Special Education license. This role involves traveling between schools or districts to provide high-quality instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction in self-contained classroom settings for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and administrators to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, progress, and communications.
- Adapt and modify instructional materials to meet the needs of individual students.
- Travel between assigned schools or districts as needed to support students.
Qualifications:
- Required: Active Montana Special Education Teaching License.
- Experience with moderate to severe disabilities in K12 settings.
- Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel within Montana for assignments.
