Position Summary

Lincoln Electric Products Co. Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Master Scheduler to join our team in Union, NJ. The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the master production schedule to ensure that customer demands are met efficiently while maximizing the use of manufacturing resources. This role serves as the key link between sales, production, purchasing, and inventory control — ensuring that production activities are aligned with company goals for delivery, quality, and cost.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in manufacturing planning systems, with strong communication skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. While this role primarily operates Monday through Friday, occasional Saturday work may be required based on business demands. This full-time, exempt position reports directly to the COO: Chief Operations Officer.

Working Conditions:

• Office and plant floor environment.

• Requires frequent interaction with production, engineering, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand

forecasts, customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.

• Analyze material availability, production capacity, and lead times to ensure schedule feasibility.

• Collaborate with sales, operations, procurement, and engineering teams to align

scheduling priorities with business objectives.

• Monitor work order progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively adjust schedules

to minimize downtime and ensure on-time delivery.

• Communicate production priorities and changes to cross-functional teams daily or weekly as needed.

• Drive continuous improvement in scheduling accuracy and efficiency by analyzing

performance metrics and implementing process enhancements.

• Manage the balance between inventory levels, production throughput, and customer satisfaction.

• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

• Maintain data accuracy within the ERP/MRP system and provide key performance

indicators (KPIs) on schedule adherence and capacity utilization.

• Support new product introductions and engineering changes by integrating them

into the production plan.

• Develop “what-if” capacity analyses to support decision-making and long-term planning.


Requirements:

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, JobBOSS, etc.).

• APICS/CPIM certification is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of Acumatica

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
