A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve multiple school locations within El Dorado County, California. This contract position offers the chance to support a diverse student population ranging from PreK through adult transition programs. The district encompasses various sites, primarily between El Dorado Hills and Camino, requiring flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the semester. This role is ideal for professionals comfortable with an itinerant schedule and on-site engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to students with mild to moderate caseloads.
  • Support PreK to adult transition programs across various school sites.
  • Adapt to itinerant assignments, traveling within the county as needed.
  • Provide direct therapy services in accordance with California SLP licensure standards.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
  • Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) onsite, when applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current California state license to practice as an SLP.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working in schools and familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) preferred.
  • Flexibility to accept travel assignments and changing schedules.
  • Prior experience with mild to moderate caseloads in educational settings.

Location:This position serves multiple school sites throughout El Dorado County, including areas around El Dorado Hills and Camino. The region offers convenient access to nearby cities such as Sacramento (approximately 45 minutes west) and recreational areas like Lake Tahoe (about 1.5 hours east).
