Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role involves providing specialized education to young students with autism in a full-day preschool setting. The classroom includes 12 to 13 students from grades 4K, 5K, and 1st, supported by two teacher assistants. Candidates must be prepared to assist students with toileting and other daily needs, ensuring a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• South Carolina Special Education Teaching license
• Multi-Categorical Certification required
• Experience working with preschool children, especially those with autism, is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teacher assistants and families

Location:

• Onsite position located in York, SC

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students unique needs within the autism spectrum
• Manage classroom activities and maintain a safe, inclusive environment
• Collaborate with teacher assistants to support students educational and personal care requirements
• Monitor and document students progress and participate in planning sessions with educational teams
