Blue Valley Community Action (BVCA) is seeking a welcoming, detail-oriented Secretary who is passionate about supporting our mission of strengthening individuals, families, and communities. This role serves as the first point of contact for the public and plays a vital part in creating a positive, supportive experience for those we serve.
What You’ll Do:

Serve as a friendly, professional first point of contact for guests, callers, donors, and community partners

Connect individuals with BVCA programs, staff, and resources

Support daily office operations, including mail, records, supplies, and communications

Provide administrative support to agency leadership and staff

Assist with board materials, agency communications, and outreach efforts

Support fundraising, donor appreciation, and volunteer activities
What We’re Looking For:

Commitment to BVCA’s mission, values, and community action principles

Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks with care, accuracy, and confidentiality

Experience with administrative support and Microsoft Office preferred

High school diploma or GED required
-
Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle
