Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing specialized communication support to students in a K-12 school setting, this full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is based in Virginia Beach, VA. The role focuses primarily on elementary school students with varying degrees of behavioral disorders, ranging from functional to inclusion settings. This environment offers a collaborative, team-oriented program with substantial support staff to enhance student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide individualized therapy plans tailored to students needs.
Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care and progress monitoring.
Adapt intervention strategies to support students with severe behavioral challenges.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
Participate actively in team meetings and professional development.

Qualifications:

Current Virginia SLP license or pending licensure approval by August.
