About the Role:
We’re seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Service Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves solving problems before they arise. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in the field—whether from automotive service, construction, equipment maintenance, or similar hands-on industries—who is ready to take their next step into an office-based leadership role.
In this role, you’ll manage service workflows, support field operations, and serve as a vital link between technicians, customers, and internal departments. You’ll make a direct impact on our success while gaining valuable experience that can lead to future leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Service & Operations Management: Oversee daily updates to service management software, process work orders, schedule and assign service requests, and maintain vehicle service records.

Field Team Support: Help manage certifications, scheduling, and coordination for field staff—understanding their needs from real-world experience.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, and other departments to resolve invoicing issues, manage site inventory, submit purchase orders, and ensure clear communication with clients.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, field efficiency, and the customer experience.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Has 2+ years of experience in service operations, field service, or technician roles—especially in construction, petroleum, automotive service, or equipment maintenance industries.

Understands the demands placed on field staff and is committed to supporting their success from an operational standpoint.

Is tech-savvy, adaptable, and eager to learn service management or ERP software.

Works proactively and thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment.

Is looking for a long-term path into management or leadership.

Before You Leap – Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, twist, pull, kneel, and squat as needed.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana testing), background check, and physical.

Valid driver's license with a clean 5-year driving record.

Some travel and overnight stays required (expenses covered).

High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Relevant experience in service or field operations may substitute for formal education.

IMPORTANT: For positions classified as safety-sensitive, applicants are required to pass a comprehensive drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as a condition of employment.
