Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 public school setting in Lumberton, NC. The role offers both full-time and part-time contract options for the coming school year, allowing flexibility for professionals seeking a rewarding position in educational speech therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to elementary, middle, and high school students.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the school team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Supervise at least one Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support caseload management.
  • Provide interventions tailored to meet the diverse communication needs of students.
  • Maintain active communication with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active North Carolina license in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Experience working with school-age children in a public school setting.
  • Ability to work onsite in Lumberton, NC for both full-time and part-time roles.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, especially for part-time positions focused on pre-kindergarten and elementary students.
