Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Church Rock, NM is seeking dedicated professionals to fill contract positions for the upcoming school year. Opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFY), Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) with school experience, and Physical Therapists (PT) specializing in school settings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid and current certification or licensure relevant to role (e.g., CCC for SLPs, PTA licensure)
- Experience working with children in a school environment, K-12 preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education processes and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting student development and learning outcomes
Location: Church Rock, New Mexico
Duration: Contract for the upcoming school year (NSY)
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy and intervention services tailored to students' individual needs in accordance with their educational goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress for speech and physical therapy services
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support integrated student services
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
