Job DescriptionSalary: $35/Hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Boom Truck & Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Technician on a contract/temporary basis to assist with maintenance and repair of boom trucks and hydraulic cylinders. The technician will troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and rebuild hydraulic cylinders as needed. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair boom trucks, including hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Disassemble, inspect, reseal, and reassemble hydraulic cylinders.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and repair diagrams.
• Document repair work and parts usage accurately.
• Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize repair work orders.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards.

Requirements:

• Experience in hydraulic repair and/or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of boom truck systems and hydraulic components.
• Ability to operate shop tools and testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Details:

• Position Type: Contractor / Temporary
• Schedule: 8-hour shift, MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Additional Hours: Overtime and weekends, if needed
• Pay Rate: $30/hour
• Location: Clarksville, TN
