The Warehouse Supervisor leads daily floor and outbound operations at our facility, driving productivity, accuracy, and safety across receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping, transfers, and returns. This role is responsible for executing against service-level commitments in a fast-paced 3PL environment while developing the team that gets the work done.
Working cross-functionally with operations leadership, customer success, and support functions, the Warehouse Supervisor balances throughput, quality, and labor efficiency while
reinforcing safety culture and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on floor leader who can manage workflow, motivate associates, solve problems in real time, and consistently meet daily volume and shipping deadlines.
This position is a key operational leadership role supporting continued growth across its Southern California facility network.
03 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations
• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping, transfers, and returns.
• Ensure labor is allocated effectively to meet daily volume and shipping deadlines.
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing priorities throughout the shift.
• Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse conditions following 5S standard, Lein, kaizen and Six Sigma standards.
• Support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership
• Lead, coach, and hold associate accountable for productivity, attendance, quality, and compliance.
• Assign daily tasks and provide clear directions to warehouse staff.
• Support onboarding, training, and cross-training of employees.
• Address performance concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
Safety & Compliance
• Enforce Cal/OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and warehouse procedures.
• Ensure proper and safe use of MHE equipment, RF scanners, and warehouse tools.
• Report incidents, near-misses, and operational risks promptly.
• Reinforce customer-specific and retail compliance requirements.
Inventory & Accuracy
• Ensure accurate receiving, labeling, counting, and documentation processes.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy investigations.
• Identify shortages, damages, or inventory issues and escalate accordingly.
• Ensure proper palletization, wrapping, and shipping standards are followed.
Communication & Reporting
• Communicate operational updates clearly with management and team members.
• Function as a liaison between warehouse associates and leadership.
• Document operational issues, corrective actions, and daily performance updates.
• Support interactions with customers, vendors, and carriers as needed
