A dedicated trucking company in Central New Jersey, established in 1975, seeks a dynamic and energetic Recruiting Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Source, screen, interview, and evaluate driver candidates.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience with clear communication and timely feedback.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with driver candidates, providing detailed information about positions, pay, benefits, and company culture.
  • Triage incoming calls and route candidates to the appropriate recruiter.
  • Pre-qualify candidates to meet hiring standards.
  • Post new ads and update existing ones across various advertising platforms.
  • Analyze lead sources and provide reporting to optimize advertising efforts.
  • Collect orientation paperwork from new drivers.
  • Enter new hire information into HRIS systems.
  • Audit personnel files to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
  • Package and mail supplies, such as safety vests and equipment, to various terminals.
  • Coordinate pre-employment testing, including drug screens, physicals, and driver abstracts.
  • Prepare new hire packets for managerial review and approval.
  • Manage personnel files to ensure credentials, training, and licenses are up to date.
  • Input new hire details into HR systems and follow up on compliance documentation.
  • Partner with external agencies to source qualified drivers as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of recruiting, staffing, or transportation experience; CDL-A driver recruiting is a plus
  • Trucking, logistics, warehouse experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with ATS platforms like TenStreet preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
