Job Description

E-Tech is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our first shift team. This role primarily involves fastening and assembling metal parts for laundry systems. The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to assist in other areas of the shop as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and fasten metal components for laundry systems.
  • Assist with loading orders onto trucks or couriers, and provide items to will-call customers.
  • Attach appropriate packing slips to outgoing orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, trash removal, and general shop upkeep.
  • Support material handling and other tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to assist in various shop duties.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and using hand and power tools.
  • Experience with mechanical assembly and general labor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred skills in mechanical assembly.
  • Must own steel-toed boots.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable assembling components and fabricated parts of varying sizes.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic warehouse and assembly environment just north of TCF Bank Stadium, University of Minnesota area. Engage with a variety of metal parts used in automated laundry systems, standing for the entire shift and regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. Our facility focuses on building sub-assemblies that are shipped to client sites for installation, with work schedules from Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.99/hr.
