Job Description
The Jewelry Polisher is responsible for buffing, cleaning, and polishing gold, silver, platinum, and gemstone jewelry. This role may also serve as a pathway into a Jeweler Apprentice position.
Responsibilities include:
- Polish jewelry using appropriate tools and compounds.
- Clean jewelry using steamers and safe chemical solutions.
- Safely operate polishing equipment and tools.
- Prepare items for customer pick-up, retail display, or resale.
- Maintain a clean and organized polishing area.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior jewelry polishing experience is a PLUS!
- Time management and Excellent organizational skills
- Keen detail orientation and ability to handle delicate items
- Strong written and communication skills
- Customer service focused with a commitment to quality work
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work varied hours, including some Saturdays
- Full-time position (40-hour work week)
