Job DescriptionNow Hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Weekly Pay $21-23/hr (Based on experience) Job Description
This role involves supporting the Shipping Lead and being adaptable to assist in all areas of the shop. A proactive attitude is essential, as well as the ability to manage various warehouse functions efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Shipping Lead and cover their duties when necessary.
- Engage in packaging, palletizing, driving forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, and moving inventory.
- Process all shipping and warehouse functions using the Company's ERP system, ensuring accurate and timely document generation and ERP entries.
- Understand shipper, customer, and carrier requirements to arrange transport, packaging, and meet customer specifications.
- Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and floor staff to support departmental and company needs.
- Assist in assembly, packaging, or equipment operation on the production floor as needed.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems, RF scanners, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
- 1 year of forklift driving experience and/or certification.
- Minimum two years of experience in shipping and warehousing inventory.
- Experience in preparing packages, labeling, and palletizing.
- Knowledge of UPS, FedEx systems, and material handling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment
The work environment is a metal stamping shop that is well-organized but not climate controlled. Employees will work in a close-knit and smaller team, providing opportunities to work independently.

This is a Contract position based out of Jordan, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
