Join Our Team as a Chef de Cuisine at Soprana Rooftop Cucinca, located atop the Embassy Suites by Hilton Asheville Downtown!

At Parks Hospitality Group, we are seeking a talented and creative Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary team at Soprana Rooftop Cucina. In this role, you will oversee food preparation, menu creation, and the execution of high-quality dishes in line with hotel standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and execute seasonal menus, incorporating local ingredients and global trends.
  • Train, manage, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and excellence in food preparation.
  • Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed by all kitchen staff.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house managers to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor food costs and assist with budgeting, ensuring profitability while maintaining high standards.
  • Manage kitchen maintenance, ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and functional.
  • Lead and inspire the culinary team to uphold creativity, innovation, and consistent quality.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in menu development and high-volume kitchen operations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.
  • A passion for food, creativity, and innovative cooking techniques.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications in food safety and sanitation are required.
