Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Shiprock, NM, is seeking a qualified Audiologist to provide on-call support for its Special Education teams. This per diem position offers the opportunity to contribute expertise in audiology while supporting students' hearing and communication needs virtually. The role involves reviewing audiology reports and assisting with the development of individualized education program (IEP) goals as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review audiology reports for Special Education (SPED) teams to inform planning and support.
- Assist in the development of audiology-related IEP goals when needed.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to address student hearing and communication requirements.
- Offer consultation and professional guidance on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid professional and educator credentials in Audiology are required.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Navajo (Din) is highly preferred.
- Experience working in educational settings or with Special Education teams is advantageous.
Position Details:
- Location: Shiprock, NM (virtual candidates preferred).
- Schedule: Per diem, on-call, with minimal hours.
