Certified Medical Assistant II - Specialty Hospital (Austin, TX)
$21/hour | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire with Benefits
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (some weekends during flu program)
Austin, TX | Travel between local sites
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

What You'll Do
- Administer intramuscular vaccinations (mainly flu shots) across multiple campus locations
- Support patient flow, answer questions, and provide updates with professionalism and compassion
- Document patient information accurately and assist clinical staff as needed
- Participate in clinic meetings, training, and special vaccination events
- Travel between sites in the Austin area to support vaccination programs
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Experience: At least 2 years as a Medical Assistant, including intramuscular vaccination administration
- Certification: CCMA, CMA-AAM, EMT (Basic/Intermediate/Advanced), Paramedic, NCMA, NRCMA, or RMA
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency, excellent communication, and ability to work independently
- Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/English and flexible for occasional weekend shifts
