Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary school students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist! This role is ideal for experienced professionals and strong Clinical Fellows, offering hands-on experience in vibrant educational settings near Elk River, MN. You’ll provide in-person support at one of six welcoming elementary campuses for the 2026-2027 school year, starting late August.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Minnesota SLP license with dual certification clearly visible (please attach as a PDF)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Commitment to fostering communication skills and student success
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and colleagues
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy tailored to students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Administer assessments and document student progress
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
- Support participation in classroom and school activities for students with diverse communication needs
- Foster an engaging, inclusive learning environment for all
This full-time, onsite position is at one of six supportive elementary schools, with a consistent weekday schedule of 37.5 hours per week throughout the academic year. Each SLP will cover one campus, focusing on a dedicated caseload to maximize student impact.
