Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

A contract position is available for a fully credentialed Special Education Teacher to support high school students in grades 9-12 during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role focuses on learning support for special education students and offers a consistent 10-hour weekly schedule.

Location:

• Pottstown, PA (High School setting)

Duration:

• June 30th, 2025 through July 31st, 2025
• ESY contract position

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM (10 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support to special education students in grades 9-12
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and learning support plans
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure accessibility and acmodation
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Special Education teaching credentials appropriate for grades 9-12
• Experience working with high school students in a learning support or special education capacity
• Ability to start promptly on June 30th, 2025
• Strong interpersonal and munication skills
